300+ hours of gameplay
Radiant AI and Dragons
7 major regions, MASSIVE Map
5 major cities.
Random Dragons with dynamic interaction (you dont know what they will do NON SCRIPTED)
Dual weilding and spell casting.
Radiant storyline (Learns how you play and customizes to your style)
Micro and Macro detail, that gargantuin mountain 50 miles away is climable!

This is truly an EPIC RPG completley new engine they are taking the 360 to the RIM of its potential.

No price yet Im guessing 60$ is the usual flyoff the shelf starting rate. This is the one game I could honestly not be able to complain if it was 80$.
Please comment and share Im ecstatic. If there is already a Skyrim thread my apologies.
 
My most anticipated game of the year and cant wait for it.
 
This makes me more excited then fable 3 did, and that says ALOT. I'm not even a super giant huge fan of oblivion, it's a good game, infact, a great one, just not my favorite. some of these things they are adding are just amazing!

I think any true RPG fan will drool at the mere sight of Skyrim as it sounds like a game we have been dreaming of someone making for many years. I mean huge world, deep story, hundreds of sidequests, deep character customisation, dragons, radiant AI, interesting NPC's all with own lives, world that feels alive, magic, guilds, and much much more...

I did more than drool... :P In all seriousness looking foward to playing a stealthy rouge/mage in this game.
 
i blame the fall of my first 360 on oblivion cus i played it so much, my second 360 is going to share the same fate

Im more worried about my relationship breaking down than my 360, i have a spare 360... might have to get a spare girlfriend too...

I like the way you think, if only real life related to fable 2 then you would get a bigamist achievement, sadpanda. In other new's talking of breaking 360's this is being installed straight to my hd, dont want to break my new 360, althought after the sure 10000000 hours i will play skyrim im guessing it will be nothing but ash.

More likely to get nothing but a black eye and some insults. I think my new 360 will cope just fine, its taken some long sessions so far.
 
I'm on my second 360, first one died because of.. Oblivion of course. There were some magical towel heating tricks to fix it just fine but I didnt know of them back then. My current Xbox runs perfectly but its actually old now that we have the Elite and the newer version still yet. Thats my plan I dont get to get a new one until I destroy my old one.

Todd Howard the game Director was asked how many hours were in Skyrim (There were about 70 per profile doing factions in Oblivion) he said they stopped counting after 300 hours of content...

Normally Elder Scrolls always waits for the next generation to come out before making another title, they always want their games to be the biggest and best so far, this time they did another on the 360 but they toltally pushed it to its max capabilities so we'll definatley here of crashes Im sure!

For what they can do Microsoft consoles are actually pretty tuff tech.
 
Im interested to see the new engine in detail along with the new upgraded radiant AI and physics.

Yeah they did, that really interests me too and if they can pull that off without any major quest bugs etc. Wonder what sort of issues the unscripted AI might cause too.

I know :sadface: I also hope there are no game breaking/fallout/oblivion scale bugs.
 
I heard about a quest were you can destroy a windmill and ruin a towns economy. This reminds me of fallouts megaton town outcomes and Fable 2's economy system, I hope itll be good.

Caves have random generated enemies based on your quest style fighting and level so every cave is random until you enter it, after that the cave is fixed to that forever so each play will be pretty different.

There are also jobs too to earn gold, Im hoping it will be better than Fable in that like blacksmithing you can sell or keep the weapons you make.

Its going to be pretty badass Ive been waiting for a game like this for along time. We kept hearing about amazing games like Milo and Fable 2 rumors and such but this looks like its really going to come through and breach the gap.
