Sly Cooper PS2 Collection coming to PS3 in HD & 3D

Sony awhile back did a survey asking of what other PS2 games that gamers would like to see redone in HD similar to the God of War series. Among that list of voted games was Sly Cooper (now confirmed), ICO & Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy (X, X-2, and XII), Metal Gear Solid, and others. Hopefully one of those and more will be unveiled during Sony's press conference at E3 today.

The Sly Cooper Collection will be revealed tomorrow as part of the Sony press conference. A blurry image on 1UP, taken at the as-yet-unopened PlayStation booth, not only announces the title but also touts 3D support as one of its key features. An independent source confirmed to Joystiq that Sly Cooper Collection is very much a real thing, and that other PS2 HD remixes are likely to be seen during the show.
