Snow Troll Quest

I've heard that you can take upon the three "dummy" quests if you slowly grow your renown up to legendary status prior to taking on the bee quest. I also heard the only benefit is a designer's haircut.

Anyone care to share some light on this?

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Its all a conspiracy man...no you can't do it at all its literally non hack/mod doable. note the "Dummy" part. Anyway when i hit my character up to recognized renown they disapeared...everything before then i couldn't take them...so i got nothing without hack/moding to do them... and also my guess is that the haircut is probably in some extra landscape they didn't put into the game...trust me they have some...i got past the barrier in bowerstone quay with the shovel glitch...did it past another barrier...went to the end of the land...dug and i spawned in a place called Bowerstone_Filler_02 or Filler_Bowerstone_02...it was one of those...i overlapped the world save and forgot the names...

Re: Snow Troll Quest

K, thanks you saved me ALOT of time. Any additional info on secret lands acquired by the shovel glitch?

Re: Snow Troll Quest

if you do this on the xbox (eint sure if it tlc or orginal) you end up in lychfield graveyard but there not much to do. the guy isent there and the gates are locked and the demon door ignores you

Re: Snow Troll Quest

What about Jack of Blades mask? I've heard rumors you can wear it, but is it available in the original XBox version?

Not on the original Xbox version, as far as I know. TLC lets you near the end, but you probably already knew that.

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Are the Will Master Elixirs affected by combat multiplier? Ages of Will potion? etc?

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Elixirs are not affected by combat multiplier, but Ages Potions and some kinds of food are.

Re: Snow Troll Quest

When you graduate from the guild, Thunder can either be wearing his helmet or not. Is there anything that triggers this or is it random? Does it mean/do anything?

Re: Snow Troll Quest

I don't think it means anything - if it does, I haven't seen anything different happen...

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Does the will user's outfit actually do anything to improve will abilities?

nah just makes you look more wise, just like assasins suit doesn't do anything either, allthough the boots are said to have an affect when sneaking. (assasin)

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Well they also add alignments don't they?

Yeah but back when I waited fable 1 or 2 years before it came I read that there would be a set in the game, if you had that set (assasin) you would be allmost invisible while sneaking at night, the boots alone where supposed to have a special effect. (silent sneaking)

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Ah well, I guess it should trigger something with NPCs right. Certain other armours do.

Re: Snow Troll Quest

Yeah but how do you know that it has an effect? I know that you are able to sneak without being seen.

Regarding the topic, now I know since I played the original game on xbox that; the troll are found in the northen wastes, the northen wastes isn't accessable the quest was included in the orginal version, so there was no possible way to even complete that quest if you could obtain it back then, and for some reason they didn't change the quest.

Re: Snow Troll Quest

What about the glowing tatoos like maze has. apperantly if you use magic enough you can get them to glow aswell... but is it based on how manu spells you cast, if so how many... or how high your magic power level is? Also do you already have to have the tat, or can you just apply a new one and it will glow automaticallu?

You can't get that shiny color maze have but you get end up with something simular, you have the markings but it's only a light blue color and your hands start to shine.

Re: Snow Troll Quest

the more spells you max out, the more apparent the will tattoos are and the stronger they shine. They turn up automatically as you level up in mana areas and you don't need to have them specifically applied.

As Xeon says, you'll never be as pretty as Maze though...

Re: Snow Troll Quest

does jack of blades mask count as a helm? cam you wear a helm over top?

And can you get both the light and dark wizards hats in tlc using hero save glitch somehow?
