Some questions

I'm gonna get this game after getting an addiction to the first fable. I have some questions though.

In videos, people don't have will bars, does that mean that you can use will as much as you want?

I also saw in the abilities menu that there was no "Health" option, how do you upgrade health then?

Lastly, in the GOTY version, do you need to download the DLC's that come with it or are they just on the disk?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Some questions

The HUD has been cleared of bars but when you get hit the bar briefly appears but you cannot die and are merely knocked out. You character will be scarred for good though if this happens along with XP loss. The bars are merely taken off the HUD until its required that you see them.

As far as i know the DLC is on the disc with the GOTY edition.

no limit to will. no need for will potions. you upgrade how strong each spell can be with experience, and the only cost for casting is the risk involved with taking time to charge it up.

instead of dying you are knocked unconscious. you lose some experience, and all of the experience on the ground disappears. furthermore you recieve a(n almost) permanent scar. there is health, and you do eat food to replenish it. other than the scaring system the health is unchanged, you just don't see the health bar unless you're in combat...when it's useful.

i can't say for sure but i did some research and from what i found...
it will either be on the disc itsself, or be on another disc that you can put it onto your xbox from.

i doubt they would release it and force you to have an internet connection to access the bonus content.

EDIT: :ninja:'d by drakan

As you already know, in TLC, upgrading health gives you a larger health bar, and upgrading toughness makes your enemies do less damage to you. In Fable 2, however, this is not the case. Toughness gives you a larger health bar, and there isn't an attribute that enables you to take less damage from enemies.

They pretty much put health and toughness together. The toughness skill in Fable 2 gives you a longer health bar AND a little resistance I believe. 2 in 1
