Sony announce PlayStation Network has major security vulnerability for PS3
That is a silly question at the end. Not using your PS3 would do little to stop the hackers, since it a vulnerability in their network not necessarily the PS3 itself.
In fact it's probably good to check out if you have been comprimised. If you can't get into your account I would contact Sony immediately.
SourceDetails are still thin on the ground but all we know is that Sony have announced that there is a major security vulnerability with the PlayStation Network. Most of the security issues are with the Japanese PlayStation Network.
This problem could allow attackers to access your account and get hold of your personal information. However these attackers can not get hold of your credit card information, they can also change your password. So will you stop using your Sony PS3 until they sort this issue out?
