Sony Holds Off Plans On 20Gb PS3 For Europe

As most people are opting for the 60Gb model in the US and the sales of the 20Gb are falling fast Sony are going to wait and see if they should even put any 20Gb ones on European shelves at all. Its days on US shelves are said to be numbered at the moment if this continues also...

Unless theres some massive demand for its release in Europe it wont make it here. I will post any more developments on this story as i get them.

After the release of the Xbox 360 Elite and their 120Gb hard drive and Sony dropping the 20Gb model from shelves and its production being stopped heres some more news from the Sony camp:

I honestly wonder if Sony believes people are going to want to pay even more money, just for an added 20GB's...They might be better off just sticking alone with the 60GB vers. instead. Or maybe even just go straight to an HD-DVD PS3 (with all pride put aside, of course.)

Yeah they stop making the obsolete 20Gb one because it isnt selling and is costing them to much money to make for the amount of sales it receiving and then they proceed to make a more expensive model and make their current one obsolete...
