Sony Secure An Exclusive Deal

Something that wouldnt have made news years ago is now big news for Sony, they have managed to get GTA developer Rockstar to create a whole new gaming franchise exclusively for the PS3. After Microsoft secured episodic content for the 360 version of GTA 4 only, it seems Rockstar are in a way trying to give something back to Sony (for whom they owe everything).

nice of them ... lol its a muilti-million pound hell maybe muilti-billion pound company
only making it for the ps3 is going to have some MAJOR drawbacks, less money, yeah thats about it. rep + on find

Well this news puts rockstar in a win win situation. I still dont think this is going to put the ps3 above the xbox 360 in a sales/marketing point of view.

But it might get them into Sony's good books again and please some of the fanboys who think Rockstar sold out when they gave Microsoft exclusive content for GTA 4.

Ya, but I still don't have a ps3. And honestly, I never will. Hate to break it to you, Sony :hmm:

Exclusive content? Better be worth it. I'd like to see some city dogfights with jets :lol:

GTA 4 wont have any jets, planes or anything like that in it (After September 11th). Xbox Live will get things like downloadable upgrades, vehicles, weapons, missions etc.
