Sony To Axe 160 Jobs

The European part of Sony Computer Entertainment is preparing to lay off around 160 members of staff.

"The business targets that we face make this regrettably unavoidable,"

Apparently every SCEE employee will receive a letter on Wednesday informing him or her if they've been "provisionally selected at being at risk".

The Sony ship is going down - the smart rats should leave it now anyway. Alteast the rats on the game/console department.

I don't hope they go out of business so much as figure out how to, I don't know, do better in the next generation without being jerks.

Well sony had it comeing to them. The ps3 isnt really good $ 600 for a consle with bad games. Or a consle for $ 400 that has gow and oblivion and other good games that i am to lazy to list.
