Sony Vegas / Movie Studio Tips
'Allo folks,
So, my copy of Sony Movie Studio HD Platinum Suite arrived this morning and I've been having a tinker with it and learning the ropes. I've never used a Sony Vegas product before and only just about know my way around Windows Live Movie Maker. I've read a few articles and watched a few video tutorials for how to do some basic - but what I'd consider pretty fancy - video editing.
I was just wondering if any of you lovely bunch would be so kind as to enlighten me with some of your video editing wisdom. Are there any tips or tricks you might be able to thrown my way? Remember: I'm still a novice at all of this but I'm pretty eager to get my feet wet.
I'm especially keen on trying to come up with a swanky video intro. Nothin' too flash. I know how to add music, trim/splice clips but is there a specific program used for coming up with some kind of swirly, abstract, fully animated backgrounds? Do please let me know.
Anyhoo, I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say. Hopefully I', not the only one who uses Sony Vegas / Sony Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum Suite around here.
