Yeah, I keep getting those same gallery spammers. They always spam at my pictures called: "Violence Is Bad" in the FF8 section... and "Real & Vincent" in the Ergo Proxy section. It's always a paragraph of pornographic adverts or sexual aid products. :getlost:

In fact, they're there now.

I have to remove about 3 a day from your gallery at least... its weird. :lol:

I got curious about that account some time ago and wondered why they sent so many PM's to people in such a short space of time.

Spammers are spammers, they have no other existence than to send useless and quite irrelevant things to people who don't want them. I figure it's the after-effect of some form of radioactive fallout and now they must do this so they don't give up all hope for themselves. Whatever gives them purpose.

General rule is : If in doubt, don't try it out. If you don't know the source of any email, link or other such stuff, then don't take a chance and have a go anyway. More than likely it will be something stupid, disgusting or illegal and whilst you're sitting there trying not to go blind at the sight of it all, your computer has been invaded by viruses.

Only accept links/downloads etc from a trusted source unless you know exactly who and what has been sent to you.

Or even more hilarious - the sites that hi-jacks your startpage, permanently setting it to their own, often a pornographic website.

Very fun to get rid of. Very.

Why would I be sent to a shock sight? I've never been anywhere, but safe places. I consider this sight safe and if something mentions something strange, I just don't open it. Choices people make might affect this. Sorry if I'm wrong to some, but you have to be careful. Oh my, does that make any sense to you?

It's not like that.
Often people may disguise a link using simple BBcode, and even more often the link usually doesn't give away the fact that the site may be vulgar and/or offensive.

For example:

MoonFever: Does anybody know where I can get free mods for WC3?!
JoN: Yeah sure, go to wowomg.com! [DO NOT DIRECT YOURSELF THERE]
MoonFever: Ewww! I'm mentally scared for life now!

Do you get it?

Tit for tat type affairs like that could go on forever, they get bored and move on and its not a big deal so best to let it pass rather than be just as childish and do the same.
