Dark Drakan already posted this video here.
We've had a thread for every season (and miniseason) of Spartacus so far, why stop now?
It has already been confirmed by Starz that this will be the final season of Spartacus, which means the gore and nudity circus has to end here.
Will the show try to be historically accurate in the end?
Will Spartacus get killed or makes a clean getaway?
Let's discuss theories, series news, and the show its self when it finally airs in January.

Behind the scenes footage uploaded last month

Any incarnation of Spartacus is pretty much cemented into becoming a martyr, I think.

Show has been pretty faithful to its history thus far, so I imagine that (spoiler) yeah, he's gonna die in battle.. and in total dramatic fashion at that.

Still, it'll be sad to see this awesome show come to a close, but, better to not have it needlessly milked out on the other hand.

In a way im glad its not overstaying its welcome and is going out on a high but im going to miss it. The show itself has been through a lot with death and cast changes etc but always still been consistently great. Id imagine they will stick pretty close to history and the show will close with a hell of a bang.

Agreed on all counts. I don't know what they're going to do for filler though. Elithia, Glaber, and Lucretia were all good for mixing up the setting and they're all gone now. Ruthless Roman General 2.0 looks mean, but I can't imagine him as being interesting enough to replace three well-developed characters.

This show's overcome a lot when it comes to losing talent (R.I.P. Whitfield) but we're talking about 3 central characters that are now gone. The only real post-season-1 character development I saw was in Agron, and he wasn't really developed all that much. It felt like he was more or less thrown in because Crixus needed to butt heads with somebody for it to all work. It'll be interesting to see if/how the writers manage to pull this off.

Well Caesar is in this season so that would be interesting, id imagine its going to be VERY action heavy in the final season. Crixus has changed quite a lot since God of The Arena (reminded me as you mentioned him), Agron has grown a little as isnt as naive as he once was but still has his immature streak from time to time.

So its back (well not officially yet for UK) but ive been watching it anyway as the Internet is full of spoilers on every social media site that I couldnt avoid. Im loving Crassus & Caesar so far, in one episode they made Crassus to be a very capable man in both tactics, knowledge, honour & fighting skills. I think him & Caesar are going to make exciting adversaries for Spartacus & the rebels this season, some of the fight scenes in episode 1 & 2 are brutal. The series never seems to skip a beat with its violence & sex which is most admirable.

The end is nigh and I for one am going to be sad to see it end... long live Spartacus!!
