I hate story lines where you get all your crap taken from you. I also love spoilers. So I was reading a plot walkthrough since I'm about to do the Spire (I crushed the Crucible in 8 perfect rounds, even on my first time seeing it). I noticed in the walkthrough that I have to give up my stuff.

I'm wondering though if I lose all my real estate and money? Because that will be a bitter pill to swallow.

Also, the person in the walkthrough said to make sure I've had children and that I've invested in Westgate (or whatever) before I enter the spire. I know 10 years passes. I did invest the 5000 gold in Westgate, but I wasnt going to bother having any children. My character is lesbian and wasnt planning to marry either.

What was the reason the walkthrough guide guy had for suggesting I have children before entering the Spire?

Thanks!

Re: Spoiler desired

G'day m8 and welcome to the forums !

As soon as you leave the spire after spending 10 years locked away inside it you will receive all your items that you owned before going into the spire so their is no need to worry m8 ;)

You don't lose any of the real estate that you bought or any of your gold.

Definitely invest in Westcliff as it pays off big time.

If you have children then it is less likely that your spouse will leave you during your ten 10 year absence as they tend to love you more. I'd make sure their keep is reasonably high aswell so they don't pack their bags and leave you. So children aren't entirely necessary. Some people find that if your spouse leaves then the house will still be treated as a marital residence and you won't be able to rent it out anymore or have a new partner move in with you.

Hope this helps m8 ! :D

Re: Spoiler desired

Another reason he could have said to have a child is because before you go to the Spire you can only have a baby, but if you have a baby before you go to the Spire and then you come back after 10 years your baby will have grown up into a kid.

Cool. Thanks for the replies.

I guess I wont worry about marriage or kids. I decided to make my main character a lesbian, so I can't have kids anyway. :) Well, not without a side buddy. But actually, I wasn't planning on taking a wife either.

Thanks!
