Stalker Recieves Good Reviews

After years in production and countless problems along the way and almost being cancelled at one stage the highly awaited PC shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl has finally been reviewed by both Gamespot and IGN and is receiving good reviews in all the PC Mags too. Ive been waiting for this game for a long time and im glad to see that it has turned out well ^_^

Finally another person whos been waiting for this game, ive been waiting years too and following its progress like a hawk im glad its getting some really good reviews now its being released ^_^

EDIT* Just this second pre-ordered my copy for friday.

I`ve been waiting for this game too... And now I have to say my computer isn`t enough to play it.

And it really has good graphics. Well, maybe not as good as FEAR or Oblivion. ( since my computer almost died when I played FEAR on minimum requirements, but STALKER is playable, not enjoyable, on minumum). But the ovarll looks with deserted houses and rusty metal everywhere is fantastic. And weapons look great too.

Yeah GFX and atmosphere seem pretty impressive as the game has been in production for 6 Years and still matches the GFX of games like Half Life 2 quite well. I can play FEAR on max settings but have to turn down some settings on the expansion weirdly.

Then you should have no problem with STALKER. And even with medium settings it looks good.
Ahh... damn, I want to play it. Need to get a slightly more powerful graphics card.
And funny, the game wont start (at least mine didn`t) unless my page file was 2GB. I had to resize it manually, otherwise an error message written in German popped up when I tried to run the game.

Physically Setting the Page File Size
If you mean page file resizing then I did it with this instruction.
At the beginning of the installation a list comes up with system requirements that must be and what your computer have. The Page File section was red... so some trouble was expected from there.
