Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Star Wars: Force Unleashed

It's not the next KotOR but it sounds pretty cool.
Game Informer, the popular gaming publication, has released some juicy bits on Lucas Arts' upcoming Star Wars game titled Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Details are scarce at the moment, but GameFront.de does have some of the more interesting pieces of information.

- The story takes place between the events of Episode III and Episode IV. You assume the role of Darth Vader's apprentice.

- Force Unleashed uses the "Euphoria Engine". It takes advantage of next-gen hardware by giving each object in the game unique characteristics. For example, a piece of steel will behave like a piece of steel; a tree or log will behave like a piece of wood; if a Stormtrooper is thrown into a steel panel, that panel might become dented. Euphoria Engine is also being used in the upcoming Indiana Jones game.

- Physics play an important role, as you can use your force abilities to throw both enemies and objects alike. With force abilities, you can utilize anything in the environment as a weapon.

Force Unleashed, previously titled Star Wars 2007, is planned for a release sometime this year.

Judging by the physics used and power needed im not surprised it wont be on the Wii.

Re: Star Wars: Force Unleashed

My Point exactly It is only availably for the PS3 and 360. That the ticket that the Wii punched. Another reason to buy a 360! as if I needed one.

Re: Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Also, in Star Wars force unleashed, you can create and customize your character with hundreds of combos and options, hair styles and clothing, and of course..lightsabers. Furthermore, any props on the landscape, you can use against your foes. Not only that, but you can test your skills online with other players, using all force spells and abilities, against your opponents or to assist your allies.

Re: Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Sounding really good right there, hope it delievers on all this. Great Star Wars games except games like KotOR and KotOR II are few and far between.

Re: Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Dude I need to get these games... Do you reckon they'll sell KoTOR II in Gamestation down the street?
