Yeah it has gone down the free to play route now which is intriguing. Download the free client off the website as I think in Origin its still listed with a price currently. Still have to pay for some portions of the game however but it has been tweaked lately to allow more options in the free game. The only MMO's id consider playing are the F2P ones (or purchase price only & no monthly fees) so my interest is always heightened when they move to the free model.

Yup. It's free, but with a bunch of (Essentially) random **** blocked off. After level 10, you gain experience slower. You can't customize your squadmate's appearances. You can't give yourself a title. You can't buy the Sprint skill (At least not so far) so you run slower. Your choice of species is limited, and you can only have two characters.
But aside from that, you have the full game. So I've been playing it, and enjoying it. Nice to get my Star Wars fix in, and get freaked out by all the KOTOR voice actors who they brought back.
For instance, one of the Jedi masters is apparently related to Bastila. So she has Bastila's voice actress. And since that's ALSO Commander Shepard-chick's voice actress, it's really disconcerting.
Though I just did something stupid and may have screwed myself over. Went into a "Recommend two or more people" area and I think I'm stuck now. Not sure what I can do about that.
