People Stereotype race, gender, body size, and hotdogs; but I think we should stereotype Forumites to.

These are all I could think of, which a Forumite could be one or many of.

The Smartellic Come-N-Goer
This guy goes to threads like this one and replies with "Forumites like you". Or a Thread titled 'Most Annoying Types of Posts' and posts something along the lines of "Types of Threads like this.

The Asshole
This guy goes to a thread, and spreads hate, refusing to leave, and continues the argument for the sake of having the last word.

The Old-Timer
This guy is usually intelligent of the forums main meaning (such as being good at Fable on a Fable Forum). He is usually very common, smart, and well-respected amongst the forums.

The Newb
Oh my goodness, hate these. They go somewhere, never use periods, never use capitalization, never make new paragraphs, can't even bold a letter, lacks knowledge of the forum-use, and asks obvious questions about the forums main meaning. There is a co-side to this, where instead they supposedly think Caps Lock won't turn off IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. Example of a post:
i cant find oakvale looked eveyerwhree how do i get bow of chapel skorm temple avo of the machine gun
 
Im being honest when I say this, Who gives a sh*t?

I mean, Whats the point? Sure you get your stereoptypes, but nowadays its so much harder to put one person into a certain category.

Im not just one of those, Im a bit of them all, actually.

So you sir, are, wrong. :D

I seem to lack the knowledge of understand your reply. If this post has no point, what is the point of anything in this "Bowerstone South Tavern"? This is a Forum, specifically a portion where OOC is allowed, therefore this is my discussion and it fits in with any other discussion.

You say I am wrong because 'you are a bit of all of them'? Why not read a post for once? Read and re-read the second line of the first post.

I think I found a new stereotype.

I didnt say what is the point in your post, sure talk about it as much as you like, I dont mind, I was just asking, what is the pont in stereotyping? and then I stated the reason wh I thought it was pointless.

And let me guess, you're not a stereotypical "character" because you're too good for that and you are the all knowing?

I find it funny argueing on the internet because doesnt matter who wins, you're still a loser.

On a slightly less ghey note there are definite categories, so to speak, of people on the intarwebz. Most of them are variations of narcissism and hubris but there are a handful of *sort of* normal people out there. On this forum we actually have a good bunch of people - they can take a joke, they can make a joke and I like to think most of us have a fairly healthy relationship with one another.

Some other forums tend to attract the whiny teenage brats, the ones who seem to think they have IQ's off the chart and the ones who like to show off their "intellectual superiority" (usually presenting itself in the form of "you missed the e on the end of that word there" - how smart???). People like that don't tend to last very long around here, which is noice. But ends the amusement more quickly than we'd like...

Ok, then again I did say I lacked the knowledge of what your post meant. I never said anything about being all-knowing, or too good for anything.

I also never thought we were arguing, but discussing.

IF I was stereotyped:

The Wanna-Be
Usually any type of guy (strange, common, exotic) who wants to be a part of a community, but ends up ****ing up. No one likes his posts, no one understands his points even though they make no sense at all, and usually ends up leaving the forums for a small while.

Someone who posts non-constructive posts anywhere he can, to get his post-count up. Usually adding nothing to the thread while it's in the theme, or going off-topic alltogether.
