I have been trying to get 1985 points exactly at the Colosseum for weeks now with no luck

You dont need exactly 1985 well you do but if you dont hit the multipliers you should get it i got captain teddy before i knew about the teddies also you can keep getting points as loong as you got the number1985 at some point in the fight.
