Strength, Skill and Will heros help

Just before we start this is not a plot thing!

Right then
I've always wanted to do a hero using just will, skill etc but i always seem to get frustrated with the downpoints of each one...having to stay away from every enemy with skill... getting smashed around whilst charging spells with will...and having to recklessly charge at enemies with strength.
And i have always at some point given in and diverged into a strong skillful magical being (all 3 ;) )

any tips to keep me on the straight and narrow

BTW just as a side.... ive always found dextrous styles sub-targetting combined with either lvl 3 (at least) slow time or raise dead and master flintcock pistol (or best available) is an absolute killer and makes the game a walk in the park ;) and then when slow time/raise dead is over smashing the last few with a cleaver or axe with at least a ghoul augment....but thats just me ;)

Re: Strength, Skill and Will heros help

I make characters that only use one or two Hero disciplines all the time. Those setbacks are just things you will have to deal with. However, there are things that can make it a little bit easier for you.

For strength, you don't have to flourish all the time. Use a combination of flourishing and chain attacks.

For skill, all I can tell you is that you should utilize your roll technique acquired after leveling up dexterous styles for the first time.

For Will, you should use Time Control, Chaos, or Raise Dead to keep enemies off of you while charging up your offensive spell.

It's already a 'walk in the park.'
