stuck on a quest in Fable II

I am currently defending the castle Fairfax against the bandids. Now I am in the celler and I have to magicly hit the first ball, second ball I have to shoot. And after that I have to hit tha ball 2 times more.
Does somebody know how this is done on a easy way. I have tried for 2 nights, but still not fast enough. :'(

Can somebody help me?

Shoot from the hip and don't try to aim because there isn't enough time. This drives most people mad so you're not alone! Best place I found to stand is more on the left because then you can see all three shooting targets as they come up - it's a pain but not impossible

i have completed all the quests on fable 2 and now i'm on the archaeologist.
the clue she gave me says "i haven't been able to gather many clues on the next artifact. i believe it is in a cave by a beach somewhere. probably not far from the region where one of the previous artifacts was found. which one though. i can not tell"
could somebody please help me out in finding this artifact please i would be very greatful

I think she means Gemstone Grotto, in Rookfield by the Hobbe Cave. You get there by coming out where you met the guy who'd lost his son. You then go into the river, (starting on the far right of the beach) and hug the shore on the right. You'll soon come to a path, follow this and it will lead you to Gemstone Grotto
