Subtitles and text

Greetings,

Well, I've got Windows XP this time. I installed Fable TLC onto my computer, and I played. All went well, until actually playing. If I enable subtitles, it will disappear for like 0.5 seconds, then reappears, partially (ie. "<"the" is missing> Barrow Fields are there.").

This does not only happen to subtitles, but also to some tutorial text, or when you have to choose Yes or No; no text such as "Do you want to buy this?" appears, just only the "Yes" and "No" options.

I tried reinstalling, but the same thing happened. Fortunately, I don't need subtitles, so I disabled them, but the missing text in some tutorials and pop-ups really bothers me.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, changing the video options didn't really work, so I decided to download FableHook. I used it, and it did lessen the times that this problem occured. However, it does happen sometimes; both in subtitles and pop-ups. The pop-ups seem to have less problems now, but the subtitles still remain as-is.

The strange thing is that after I take a screenshot of that "bug" ingame, it seems that nothing happened after I pasted it into paint.

I tried, but it didn't help -- it remained as is. But yea, thanks for the help, JohnDoe. I guess I'll keep trying.
