Summing

How do I summon something else other than the wasp? Sorry that this is a n00b's question but I hardly ever use this spell.

Re: Summing

If you let the Wasp do the finishing hit on an enemy, and the enemy is stronger than the Wasp you will get it as a Summon instead. If it is weaker (but what would be weaker than a wasp is beyond me), it won't switch.

This goes on, so if your new summon finishes off an even stronger enemy, it will switch once again.

Note that it won't work with certain monsters, like Trolls (unless you download a modification).

Yeah Tsuyu is correct (+rep) you have to let your summon kill another enemy that is stronger for it to replace your current.

Re: Summing

Well what can a wasp kill? This is gonna take awhile.

When you are experienced enough you can "tell" how much Health an enemy has by a gut feeling and then beat it down to nearly dead.

Also, if your Wasp dies, just cast the spell again - it doesn't matter, just aslong as "a" summoned creature kills it, it counts, it doesn't have to be "the" summoned creature you summoned at the start of the fight.

You can also try to keep the enemy focused on you while your summoned Wasp flanks it - just give the enemy a wack with the stick(since it does so low damage it most likely wont kill it) once in a while.

Just attack them a few times but not enough to kill them and let wasp finish them off.

Re: Summing

Cast slow time as well, your summoned pet is not affected by the spell, but the creatures you are fighting are.

Re: Summing

I got a Balverine but how do I get a White Balverine as only silver can kill them?

well, I don't know if you can get a white Balverine as a summon or not as I've never tried, but I do know that you don't need silver to kill him... in the quest where you fight the white balverine, after you get the silver augment you don't actually have to use it... you can kill it with anything you want, so I always save the augment for later :shifty:

kill a white balverine in the arena, sliver hurts them more, but you can still damage them normally there.

Re: Summing

White Balverines eh? This might be easier than i thought. Use beserk and slow time and physical sheild. Beat the crap out of intill its weak then use your summon and let it kill the white balverine. With that combo the balverine will be attacking you while your summon finshs it off.

Re: Summing

Um, I actually have a question about this-- I was under the impression that if your Summoned creature killed a stronger one then it just briefly became said creature.

But, actually, it sounds like and makes more sense that if the wasp manages to kill something then everytime you Summon you get the stronger creature. I've never used Summon much, though I've gotten it once or twice, simply because it didn't seem worth the Will power required to cast... but if the stronger creature is permanent then it would be worth it.

the stronger creature becomes your permanent summon from then on, yeah... well, until it in turn kills something stronger...

Re: Summing

Summon is also instrumental for gaining mass amounts of will exp.

Re: Summing

Okay, cool-- that's lots better than what I thought it was. Whenever I play Fable again I think I'll work on it.

You do that. When compared to the other "summoning" spell, that one with the swords, it is the more enjoyable of the two. ;)
