Right, so i've completed all of the puzzles which are associated with Sunset House. I was just wondering if there was a way of getting rid of the "present" setting for the house (as in the old, dusty, trashed side)?

If you did everything, you must have gone through the mirror. Both sides are the equal opposites, one looking badm the other good. Just live in the nicer side of the house! 
Also, on the inside, you can leave through either of the doors, but on the outside it's still a single house. I like these kind of odds, things.
