Sword of Aeons

I just got a quick question about this cute little sword....
Why is it considered and evil weapon when it was the weapon used by William Black to slay the three "-of Blades"?
Is the weapon considered evil because the Jack used it in his new body? Is it evil because for some reason you have to hit Theresa with it?

Re: Sword of Aeons

It's considered evil because it was originally owned by Jack, and was probably made by him, too. But it comes from the void, so that should set off alarms.

Re: Sword of Aeons

Waitwaitwaitwait.... According to the Fable wiki William Black used the Sword of Aeons to kill the Knight, Jack, and Queen of Blades (except for the fact that Jack's soul just escaped into another body)
Did he steal it from Jack or am I just much more stupid than I thought and read it wrong?

Re: Sword of Aeons

Have you read the Tales of Albion? It was a backstory to the Fable universe that Lionhead published on their site prior to the release of Fable II. It explains everything.

Re: Sword of Aeons

Swords of Aeons don't kill people, people kill people.

Re: Sword of Aeons

Because *apparantly* you need the blood of someone from you're bloodline to get the sword. Don't think it explains why, though. I've always just assumed that when William Black disappeared, he sealed the sword in the void, and his bloodline was the key.

Re: Sword of Aeons

Indeed. Reasons for it being evil.

1. Its Jacks blade.
2. You have to kill your sister to wield it.
3. Even though William used it to defeat Jack, he could only do so in exchange for his soul. The Blade is clearly evil :D
