I posted the first trailer some time ago here for anyone who didnt see it (it was excellent). Now Starbreeze Studios have posted a video showcasing a little of the 4 player co-op in their upcoming FPS remake of the Bullfrog Studios classic Syndicate. I think it looks like a brilliant blend of Mirrors Edge, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Chronicles of Riddick.
For anyone unsure about what to make of it, there is a co-op demo coming soon...

I need to say that the original trailer's theme song is just freakin' awesome, and I'm not even that much of a fan of dubstep.

I can't believe I'm just now finding out about this remake, how could I have missed this. The game is looking very interesting so far and with it being in development by Starbreeze Studios, I'm definitely keeping my eyes on this one.

Im a fan of Starbreeze and I was saddened they wouldnt be working on The Darkness 2 but glad to hear they have been hard at work on another title that has grabbed my interest. If done right it could be something very special indeed and after Deus Ex: Human Revolution (which I loved) there is space for another game like it in my collection.

Indeed, though I have to sadly admit that I uhh.. still haven't completed Deus Ex 3 yet. I made the mistake of letting it fall behind the queue of Skyrim, Batman, etc. and now it's gonna be a while before I get back to it (but I do love the game, honestly). I don't think Starbreeze will disappoint, but there's been a surprising run of promising games that have failed to deliver.

I know what you mean, ive got a collection of games that I really enjoy but they have all been cast aside because of Skyrim. Means ive got around 5 games to get through before The Darkness 2, Syndicate and Mass Effect 3 just for starters.

Lucky you, I've got around 15 piled up... there is no hope for me anymore so I've come to accept this unending situation.

Least there will be the usual summer lull in the gaming world so will have some time to catch up before the usual Christmas rush again.

Looks better than the single player, which expect to be something like Haze (As in the player turns against the corporation, but few games these days try to break the trends, and I doubt the audience wants to play a ruthless enforcer for a syndicate), as the co-op looks something similar to the older games, where you fight other corporations, and there is no good guy.
