Take the boat?

I'm at the part in the game where it says meet with that girl to take the boat, and it kinda says something like only go when you are ready. Should i go or is there something that i dont wanna miss?

Donate the 5000 to that guy in Rookridge, when you get back from the Spire, it should be a functioning society. Also many of the villages will change too....and you get bald

Yes! Do not go on the ship unless you at least consider completeting the 5000 gold investment in Westcliff and the Temple of Light defense. Both these quests have major improvment affects on two towns that you wont see without them. Also consider eliminating all the bandit clans.

What's the Temple of Light defense quest... What do you do in it. I cant remember if i did it or not.

Go to the Temple of Light and a monk will mention that some of the shadow worshippers are attempting to desecrate Wellspring Cave. You'll need to get rid of them if you'd like to assist.

Also, for those of you considering whether to help Barnum in Westcliff or not... just know that the area will change. Radically. Oddly enough, that was a decision I regretted most greatly in the game. I liked Barnum well enough, but the place becomes such a tourist attraction it lost all of its former glory in my opinion. If you're interested in more shops and income though, go right ahead.

just take all the bounty hunter and slave rescue quests... no real bonus for this... they'll still be bandits when you get back lol
