Teach me to make ....

Comics!

What i want to know is how do i make borders/boxes and stuff?

also how do i add speech bubbles.

I have GIMP and i can get photoshop if needed.

Simple question. But before I answer, I have one for you.
What type of computer do you have?

You're going to need to find your own game screenshots. Then you can lay them out in a comic format (in whatever order you wish). There's a shape tool in Photoshop, I'm not sure about GIMP, and speech bubble is one of the shapes you can pic. Once placing the speech bubble, simply create a text layer and place it over the speech bubble.

Yes.. I am finding out if he has the newest version of MSP. That will make life easier.
Ill explain how to make a comic. I just need to know if you have an XP, Vista, Windows 7, or Mac?

Based on your answer, comics can be made with ease.

Ide just make the pic import it into work then add the speach bubbls via autoshapes and use the comic sams font

I am fairly sure. If you download it, Making comics will be a breeze. I'll tutor you once it is downloaded. Just keep me updated L=

umm. I actually have a windows 7 laptop with the updated version. ill go on there and mebe i can transfer it over

Well, there is a balloon template on the windows 7 paints.

this is how u would go about it.

Here is a bigger picture

Now, get your picture, but a border around it using the square tool, put a bubble around it using the chat bubble tool, or the thought bubble tool. Also add text.

see the fill button? be sure to click it and have a solid color fill of white for your chat balloons. Black border, and white center.

EDIT: MY next question is...
how would i go about adding like effects to my pictures

like you know how you see in comics when someone gets hit its like POW! and then a starish shape around it

You could always draw a star-ish shape in Paint using the line tool.

You could always google images it ;o

Or if you want I could draw you the shape and send it to you as a .png. You could resize or recolour it whenever necessary.
