When donating to the Temple of Light you gain experience and Purity. Unlike Fable and Fable TLC you unfortunately do not gain back your yester-year youth. After donating at the Holy Hour (Noon Game Time). That is pretty much all the donating required by the game unless you want to pay for your purity (personally I think Celery and Tofu are a bit quicker and cheaper). It is ultimately up to you what you wish to do with the Temple of Light; destroy it, purchase it, bring prosperity to it. Also you only age as long as you continue the main story-line. Hero of Strength=10 Years....Hero of Will=10 Years....Hero of Skill=10 Years (or 20 Years depending on storyline). So try and do those side missions and exploring as early as possible before those days are long gone. If you're trying to become a child again, try the Brightwood Tower quest, but keep in mind it's only a 5 minute or so quest.
