The age glitch...

In order to do this you need:

1. A good amount of gold
2. You should be old enough to want to change your age
3. You MUST be on a quest that is in the WITCHWOOD area
4. YOU MUST NOT HAVE GOTTEN THE AGE DECREASING GIFT FROM THE TEMPLE OF AVO

so this is what you need to do:

1. Be on a quest in witchwood
2. During the quest go to the temple of avo
3. Donate a large sum of gold to the temple until you are given the gift of youth
4. Perform a Hero Save
5. Load you Hero Save and repeat the steps over and over and over.

I was able to bring my character's age from the 60's down to 18 years old. This does change your characters appearence and will make him look younger, don't worry you will still be the same size and your stats will remain the same other than your age.

CAUTION!:
Using excessive Hero Saves has been known to corrupt the save file, this does not happen often but it has and can happen, I would suggest that you back up your saves if you are on the PC or have some other save files if you are on the xbox.

18 is the minimum.

Fine... Than it was down to 18, I did say about 17 so 18 is in that range

How much do you have to donate to get the age reduction by the way? I forget.

^yeah, also the Skorm one gives you age reduction, if your good sacrifice someone there... I think the best time is between dusk and midnight... but I am not completely sure

You sacrifice a hired mercenary at midnight (right after the imaginary guard says "Lights out, you 'orrible lot!") for the best result.

I don't believe alignment affects the age reduction of Avo or Skorm. I believe it only increases the amount you need to donate the more good you are in the Temple of Avo, and the more you need to sacrifice the more evil you are at the Chapel of Skorm. (Chapel of Skorm I'm not sure about... I haven't figured if it's random chance with the sacrifice or that time + type of NPC gives a certain amount of points which you need to achieve for the reward.)

^I think they meant it makes no difference to the ammount of years taken off in the reduction.

It is alot better to do the glitch at the temple of avo since you have to be on a quest during the donation, you will be farther along in the game and have more money to donate when a quest brings you to witchwood, besides I don't think that there are any high level quests that occur in darkwood near the chapel of skorm.
