The Bowerstone Bookseller

Anyone else had this happen? I got hitched to the bookseller in Bowerstone and we had a couple fo sprogs...for a while he seemed content to go from home to work each day and got me a nice discount on books I didn't really want but at least I could help myself to the till every now and then.

ANYWHO - one morning, I went to the bookstore after an early session of Hollowmen hunting only to find that my husband had been sacked and some bird called Vicky was now the bookseller...

Has this happened to anyone else? I killed my husband for being so stupid as to lose his job, of course, but I was just wondering...

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

i dont think he got fired, cuz for me i got 2 booksellers in the same store for some reason! i also got 2 blacksmiths and 2 tailors in market, but its a glitch im pretty sure, maybe u had 2 aswell?

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

you can't expect your spouse to work everyday of his life can you? he needed some time off to spend the your kid, and you went and killed him. would you do that to your real husband? maybe vicky was just a part timer on weekends, who knows, but you didn't even take the time to ask, did you? you just killed him thinking he was incompetant, when really he was just suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome. as far as i know, those shop keepers work some pretty long hours, especially the ones on the stalls, but then, some are very lazy too. i've noticed that the furniture lady and the guy at the apothecary like to start at about 11am, but as soon as it hit 6pm, whoosh, they're outta there. lazy sods

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

He automatically quits the job and a new person takes over. But when a NPC programmed as a shopkeeper enters their own shop you can still buy off them. (my wife was the stylist and when I led her back to he old shop the A promt appeared above her head)

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

Aw, now I feel a bit guilty... :(

But not nearly guilty enough to stop repeating my actions next time around

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

^ lol, i just hope you saw the humour in the post moreso than the guilt trip

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

same shes a girl for me to

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

Nothing like that, Though. the Furniture seller (and a few others) won't be in their shop when I first get there, and then 2 seconds later, they'll appear out of no where. :O

Re: The Bowerstone Bookseller

i have run into people that haven't rendered yet and they now dislike me
