So the Limited Collector's Edition is supposed to have:

1. - "A new quest: Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.
2. - "Exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.
3. - "Fable III playing cards: Created by Lionhead, these cards depict every type of character in "Fable III," including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.
4. - "Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
5. - "A new dog breed: Renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.
6. - "One unique outfit: Unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your "Fable III"
   ."

Last time we were promised so much with the Fable II CE and... then we had nearly everything taken away from us. I am really excited for the CE of Fable III but I am kind of weary of pre ordering it. I was never refunded for the extra stuff we never got for II so I am wondering; how many of you are going to get the CE of Fable III?

Do you think the CE is worth the extra money and are you worried they will pull the same crap from Fable II?

(I looked for a thread about the CE and couldn't find one. so I apologize if this is a repeat.)

You would think. But we were denied everything but the stupid halo armor... You would think that would have been enough to really hurt Microsoft. They still did it.

Are you going to get the CE anyway?

Speculating at this point is fruitless, for the success in making a Collecter's Edition is to keep the specifics as vague as possible and the total worth of the package managable for "pretty penny" profits. As for worrying myself over whether or not Lionhead is screwing me over, all I can say is that if I allowed myself to be vexed and or bitter over losing a small sum of thirty dollars for a game, I might as well quit playing them all together.

If the original gameplay is decent at best, I'll be content - for I've played worse, I'm sure.

I got the Limited Edition which I believe is the same as Collector edition.

I already pre-ordered Fable 3 CE, Fallout: New Vegas CE as well as The Force Unleashed 2 CE. So as you can imagine I will be broke.

Whew! Yeah that is quite a bit of money..... and they all come out around the same time too, don't they?

I will be pre ordering New Vegas CE as well.

And the more I think about it, the more I am convinced to buy the CE of Fable III. However.... I also have to buy a new Xbox 360 seeing as how my 360 had decided to go all red ring of death on me about a year ago. I have had to go a year without my xbox. But I think I will go with the new one that has the internal hard drive and the set up for the kinnect.

I am really excited about the Wolfsbane and the exclusive area. What are you guys looking forward to most about the CE?

What I want most is the exclusive area, hope to turn it into a fable version of Versailles.

Yep. Those three games will all I will be able to buy this year. I am excited for Wolfsbane and the exclusive area and the new clothes as well but I always love the hands-on things. Those that I can touch and feel with my hands.
