The Combatant Acheivment Guide
Here are a few tips on how to get to, and kill, the necromancer in the colloseum.
1. use level 5 slow time durring the entire colloseum battle. cast level 5 slow time and kill everything untill the slow time clock gets about half way through then stop fighting and charge up level 5 slow time again. starting the charge when the first one is halfway through gives you enough time to charge without the slow time ending. do this untill you get to the necromancer. doing this I got to him with about 2 min left.
2. killing the necromancer. slow time is the key here to, as he teleports all around and its hart to hit him. it seems that the only time you can hurt him is just after he appears, when magic is swirling around him. after that he will telleport again. while ignoring all other enimies, wait for him to appear (with slow time already active, do not let your slow time end at all durring this battle) then strike him. it seems that you can only hit him once and do damage, after that he flinches and reapears somewhere else. it is also worth mentioning that I finnaly killed him with a headshot. this may or may not be the only way to kill him. when I struck him with my sword, he did get hit and droped xp. when in slow time he does yell something like "what did you do to my head!?" so I think a headshot is the key.
also, it may well be worth having a henchmen tag along to focus purely on using slow time while you do the fighting.
