Did anyone else notice that the Commandants weapon looked like the ledgendary weapon: The Maelstrom.^_^

I noticed the first time I saw him (when you go to Garth's tower).

I noticed the way the blade is chipped, which is very similar if not identical to the way The Maelstrom is chipped.

they tend to do that a lot in fable. Ever notice before jack gets the sword of aeons his wepon is a master katana? and that soem bandits that are really strong have beravers in fable 1??? Or how reavers gun looks a bit like the master flintlock.

haha NOW i understand why the comandant became such a tool...he must have been bringing and torchering villagers at the spire because of how frustrating they are to sacrifice at the temple of shadows!

The Spike spell is what the Commandant and the elite guards use against you, usually when you try to charge a spell..

You should see a load of black spikes come at you on the floor (you can also tell by the glowing white line on the floor)

Yep. I noticed that when I got the Maelstrom on my second playthrough. "Hey, this looks familiar." My suspicions where confirmed when I saw him take Garth at Brightwood Tower.

HE also reminded me of Darth Maul.

YH, WITH THA SPIKES IN HIS HEAD! AND WITH THE LIGHTNING! (although Darth Maul never actually used lightning)
