The Completionist Achievement

This achievement has been driving me nuts for the past month, i can't get the back flip for the dog and a few expressions. Can i please join someone's game so i can finally get this achievement.

If you wait until the "See the future" DLC comes out you'll be able to get them I don't think that you'll have to pay for it. There will likely be a free version so that Co-op still works. We should know when it's coming out soon.

Just to update it will be released during May (dont get your hopes up) and will be on sale for 560MS points it adds alot of new content including the books so you dont have to bother with pub games

it will probably also be a free update since the fact that you need the pub games to get it is a violation of microsofts acheivment rules.

Actually it doesn't violate any rules. The rule people think is being violated is the one that states that you should be able to get all original 1000 achievements point without buying an add on. You can do this through the "or watch another hero" part of the achievement.

That said Lionhead is still going to make it so you won't need that to get the achievement.

Also Sam Van Tilburgh from Lionhead announced today that it will be released on May 12th. :w00t:

oh, that makes sense. also I think you can trade those books aswell.

so are they just making it so the acheivment doesnt need those expressions, or are they makeing it possible to get the books?

wait, yes it is a violation of the rules! even if you see another hero do it, they have to have bought the pub games in the first place. to get the acheivment someone somewhere had to have bought pub games first, therefor, violation.

but really, an acheivment requiring you to do something on live is sort of a violation this rule since you have to have an internet connection and pay for gold. sort of a double standard, but Im not going to raise a fuss as Im not an acheivment addict.

I didn't buy the pub games. A lot of people got them for free just like me. There are a lot of games that require online game play to get an achievement. In some games half of the achievements require online play.
