Go for headshots they're worth 3 points each!!! also sometimes the cardboard will pop up in the same place straight away so you can just keep shooting the head and rack up some good points also don't try and hit anything that is Further away than another always aim for the close ones because they are all worth the same amount of points....
Just hang in there and you should get it and the First Prize is well worth the effort!

Isn't the main prize just a pistol that ain't so powerful...? Either way I haven't/won't do this quest so I'm not sure :ninja:

Though the pistol that you get might seem lame, it rocks. I got it 2nd try as i missed it by 1 shot the 1st time. Make sure that you LISTEN to the guy organizing the competition. If you invested money into the town, then you will shoot the bandits, as the town becomes very economically strong, and if you didn't, then you will shoot the Villagers because it is more of a slum.

this is how i did it.
-use a pistol (Fast and quick reload speed)
-aiming for head shots on the 1st and 2nd round is important!
and thats pretty much it, practice makes perfect is the only other tip.
as a reward it gives u the best gun in the game! people like to say im wrong because it only has a damage rate of 41 or something low like that. They say that because they use their 'Enforcer' the big bad 1 shot gun that does 177 dmg!
poop to you, if you use it and say its the best gun.
you only get 1 shot with the enforcer at 177 hit points for every 2-4 seconds (reload time)
meanwhile with brutal styles (rank 3 or 4 i forget which one) it grants me an instant reload, so i can shoot off like 8 rounds in in the time it takes to shoot 1 shot from the enforcer, and i have instant reload which pretty much makes it a 'no reload' gun
so do the math 8 shots at 41 dmg in 2 seconds = 328 dmg points im dealing in the time it takes you to just shoot the enforcer once not even including its reload time...

Well put I just don't use guns very much and when I do I like to just shoot once or twice and switch back.
