Hasnt been confirmed no so i wouldnt expect it.

Well hopefully so, seeing as the game is far more expanded(of course) than the first and you can probably switch from character to character..or something like that. Still, it makes me also think that's there might not be the chance because if you think about it, you have no control over the dog, so maybe you don't have any control of any other animals or creatures in the game.

Well, as I see it, not possible. Why? Because looking at the Balverines in Fable it appears once you become one - you stay like one. You just don't "turn Balverine" like if you were a werewolf with periods of being a human. And the Balverines also appeared feral and wild, which sorta would mean you'd lose control of your character...

That would suck if balverines could one-hit-kill you because you turned into one...
But then again, there could be a cool sidequest where you play as a different character and have to hunt down your old hero with the cure.

Perhaps you would have a scene were you bury all you stuff just before you turn then you would have just one quest Find Cure to Balverine Disease but you wouldn't be able to talk to anyone or visit towns without being attacked.
Could be done but I think Tsuyu has a good point about not being able to control the character.
Maybe it would be timed quest that if you didn't complete in time you would be lost to the wilds of Albion for the rest of your life and you would have to reload from the last save. Also no World saves while you're a balverine.
One last thing While you are on the quest you have a semblance of your human form. Namely If you're evil and have red eyes and horns so will the balverine, plus it will have coarse black matted hair. If you were good the you would have blue eyes and a a halo with smooth silver hair.
I'm imagining hiding out near a town pub and overhearing someone say "Have you heard the VanDrake was in town last night? He's that hermit the lives in the woods. They say He talks to the wolves" This could also have happened earlier in the game. You would then have to seek him out and he would tell you what you need to do to cure the balverine in you.
