The Dog...

Okay, in the next few lines you read you might discover that I am your worst enemy. You might discover that I am *different* from all you other Fable fans. Because I heard people were sad when their dog died. To put it simply...well, I was quite stoked.

It all started when I was quite small, naive, and innocent. I went to with my mother to her freinds house. Her freind owned and Xbox (original) he also happened to own, well, Fable. Thats when I got the experience of a gamers life. Its been my favourite game since. And I don't know why. Maybe just because of the fact it was a great fantasy story. Maybe...well you tell me, but I was obsessed. Years later I bought TLC on PC and it wasn't as great an experience but that was to be expected, I was thirteen by then (I think). And then soon after that I had purchased an Xbox 360 and it came to my knowledge that Fable II was soon to be realeased. Well this was the look on my face :*:w00t:* but I was to be dissapointed. The experience was ruined. Where was the over-exaggeration of weapons, muscles and well...Twinblade? Where was the guild? Even small things like teleporting through Cullis Gates and teleporting back to the guild to feel the rewarding sensation of leveling up? And why the hell was the original music only in the loading screens?
But most of all where was the closeness to the hero of all heroes (if you didn't notice that was you) was gone because someone, oh that someone who barked at a chest that contained a petty amulet, who dug furiously to retreive a condom and that someone who thought they had Jack of Blades mask in their mouth but was actually the head of an undead, had completley obliterated that closeness to the hero of all heroes...and I hated it. Oh yes i did enjoy the game but it might as well have been called Elder Scrolls V for all I care. It had the same difference between Farcry 1 and Farcry 2. Oh yes. That fantasy was gone. It had now just turned into...fun....or the sims?
I was Gutted, Angry, Depressed (Kidding about Depression:P) but what did I do? Make the best of a bad situation. How did I do that? Well isn't it obvious? I played TLC and I loved it. Even though I spammed clicked through all the dialogue. Even though I grinded my cheeks off so I could kill the queen bee in a matter of milliseconds and Twinblade even faster. I still got that experience of a gamers life. And you ask about Fable II? well, I got a decent amount of Gamerscore from it...
