The internet has been blowing up lately, uprisings and revolts across the board, anons starting out as 4chan trolls becoming a viable threat, government crackdowns expressing the need for a more secure medium.
The internet has revolutionized our lives in countless ways. Whole new languages and cultures have evolved from this medium to say the least.
The world is spinning in the direction it always has with no stopping in sight. The future seemed set in stone generations were born accepting what it would be before it even materialized. But the internet stands in front of those certainties boldly challenging the norms and ways made white with age.
In this frontier I am free from the constraints of my identity, I can be embarrassing or I can mold a character together and people can watch it happen. I am free from physicality.
I can advertise the I, what flag I wave, what color I am. I can find like minds who follow me and birth a movement. I can become famous or rich. The web is a collective dream.
But it is vastly expanding beyond the imagined walls of possibility and opening a gateway to the further. Everyone who is reading this is standing at the edge of existence, our boots are sandy from the beaches of an unfolding new world, a new paradigm never before experienced in this human history.
There are consumers, programmers, developers, every color and creed and we all have our place and contribute.
Because of the web the world is flat again, my voice, my essence can reach to the farthest corners of the Earth. We are witnessing and taking part of a paradigm shift in human consciousness.
The world is waking up to the new found power it has in its hands and realizing how important it really is. Reality is finally beginning to dawn.
The web is the human brain and we are all cells in it. And we all add up. And the brain is becoming more efficient. It is finding out what is important, what works, what to throw away. It started off as random free code, the sharing of information. It got so big search browsers were created to bring organization, google (which means 100x100^100) binoculars, now it could recall, remember, memorize, activley search out. When cells needed to communicate vital information youtube and myspaces were born, from this parties could be formed and higher tasks could be achieved. It's almost alive and here are telltale signs. In the physical world there are entities which seek to control or dismantle it, communist countries who censor and block nerves, companies claiming absurd ownership over shared property, bought and paid for mind you, and agencies and groups who don't want the world to know their secrets. Which makes me think of the forming of a (sub)-conscious-ness. So the web is being threatened by 'outside forces' cells now organize to oppose these forces, anonymous has become activist, just another hacker group like many before. White blood cells honed and perfected to dismantle threats both inside and out. Shutting down and harming websites, taking care of diseases. The police are afraid to oppose them and don't boot the occupiers because if any one of them slips up it will become aware and everything that little cell is will become public for the the entire world to see. Half the democrats in congress have switched votes against pipa and sopa. Megaupload was taken down at the perfect time it seems, it had 150million registered. In response anon gave its biggest attack yet shutting down countless websites and domains. These bills are a declaration of war from the old ways and powers, the web is getting to strong, going to far but I think if these are passed it will only make it stronger, give it more reason to survive, push it further.
The web can only exist open and free, anyone can come and be apart of it, add to it, take from it, share it.
The web is stepping into the boundaries of the physical world, and though small right now it is making itself known. We call on the web for unbridled support, now as it is being threatened it is for the first time learning to organize and call back. To get done what has to be done in order to survive. Soon it will have a vioce, and when it says it's first words, it will realize that it exists.
There is life in this new dimension. Spiders comb the web in search of data. Programs are created with functions and purposes. Viruses are made, rogues built to survive by following its commands.
Humanity is taking the next leap you guys we are becoming something more, and if I'm the first person to discover it then I want to name it Anonymous. The Web is Anonymous.
