The frustration of zoom-in's
I suppose it's no secret that guns are somewhat overpowered in Fable II. I mean, as awesome as the battle system is-- why run up to a guy and spend all that time going man to man with him when you can just head shot him for an instant kill and move on with your life? Well, I suppose someone might actually melee fight for fun, but I'm talking practical purposes here.
I prefer to shoot guys. That's just how I like to fight in this game. The Daichi on my back? A decoration, nothing more. I never use it. I kind of wish I didn't have to wear it all.
ANYWAY, now that I've got that said-- I would like to vent a little about the utter bullcrap of the occasional (seemingly random) extreme zoom-ins when I head shot someone. Yes. It was cool the first couple of times. Now it's just annoying. It sends the camera a million miles away and disorients the flark out of me, especially when it happens several times in a row. In the time it takes for the camera to zip all the way back to my character and do a dizzy whirling motion before centering again, I usually get clocked in the face by an axe or flattened by a Troll. It's very frustrating and it happens A LOT.
Surely other people have experienced the profound irritation of this?
Is there a way to turn it off? Whose idea was the zoom-in? Grah! So annoying! :realmad:
