I just want to know if the 3 wives I had before I was king count toward the total six I need. Also is there a way to kill NPCs without the whole town freaking out on me for the rest of the game? I'm 100% good, but my kids and soldiers keep asking my I kill people and calling me a murderer.

I don't think marriages count prior to being king/queen. I don't think it counts if you marry players either. And I'm pretty sure even if no one else is around people will still seem to know you killed someone. DNA testing? Gunpowder residue? Beats me.

Thanks for the input. I already have six but two were from before my ascent to the throne. I think I'm going to just try moving two into houses next door to each other, killing the both of them, and waiting for the achievement to pop. If it does or doesn't I'm going to switch the console off so it doesn't save my crimes.

Just wanted to confirm that any marriages before becoming kind do not count.

Marriages before becomeing king do not count. And people will eventually stop talking about your murders.
