The kind of game I would like to see....
The kind of game I would love to see/make would be something exactly like Fallout 3 but the environment you play in to be like "life after people" (or I guess like "I am legend" but I never saw that, so I dont know) where the land has not been destoyed by war, but by the ravages of time. Thats the main thing I hate about fallout 3 because the land is dimal and gray and lifeless, but it makes sense for the aftemath of an atomic armageddon.
What I want is massive plant overgrowth. Vines cover windowless crumbling skyscrapers full of birds and other animals. Herds of elephants bred from those that escaped from zoos rome around with packs of wild dogs and flocks of parrots. Sport feilds become forests, indoor feilds become tropical greenhouses. A literal urban jungle, full of green, life, and beauty.
Im thinking of it taking place a few hundred years after something has happened to kill off humanity, perhapts a devistating viris or global warming or something. I guess the enemies you would deal with would be things like bears, wolfs, other wild animals and whats left of humanity. Or perhapts the game is the story of you being the last human on earth. Either way, its a freerome RPG. Mabey you could find a few pets, tame a wild dog or cat, or re-domesticate a parrot. Scavence parts from cars to make one that works, stuff like that.
Anyway, thats the type of game I would love to play, or even better be a part of making if I become a game designer. So, thoughts?
