The land of the dead

I'm planning on buying out all of oak field. But my guy is evil so i'm going to do the massacre. Do people move back while your in the spire or will it stay unpopulated? And on a different issue do I don't use another thread, what is the best house in the game before you beat it (this doesn't include the oak field demon door house) my current house is the one in the picture on the top of the page.

Can't help you with your first question sorry but I personally think the graveyard Mansion is the nicest house in the game, I just love the setting it's in with the big steps and flowers and stuff. Giles farm, bloodstone mansion and castle fairfax are also nice. It really depends on what style you want to go for. If you want a rural, laidback, family type place then Giles farm and the oakfeild demon door are nice whereas if you want a posh house obviously fairfax and bloodstone are good.

If you do the massacre quest, the population of Oakfield will drop down dramatically. But that's how life is, isn't it? ^_^
About buying a house; it depends. Do you want to be able to set it as a marital home? If so, there's no point in buying Castle Fairfax, Bloodstone Mansion or the Bowerstone Cemetery Mansion. I would rather recommend Giles' Farm. But on the other hand, if you don't want to set your house as a marital home, go for the Bloodstone Mansion, Bloodstone Mansion, Brightwood Tower, or Castle Fairfax, depending on how much you can afford.
