the man on the street corner

ok. im bored (imagin that). so, as usual, im gonna start a thread on whatever random thing happens to pop into my head that i think some people may be interested in or discus. anyway, the other day as i was driving home from work, i passed a man standing at a street corner walking around vigorously holding up a sign that read "support our troops. impeach bush". now, this man is intitled to his opinion, and i respect that. (i am not going to comment on the sign, because that will surly help to set off more useless bickering) but, what does this man think he is going to accomplish? is standing in front of a 7-11 by himself really gonna change anything? could he posibly think it will? does he really have nothing better to do? seriously dude, get a day job. now, lets not talk about the sign please, but rather, what is going on in this dudes head.

Re: the man on the street corner

You'd be surprised how much one person can accomplish...

Re: the man on the street corner

Not that one person obviously because he's just standing there...alone...I reckon his sign is his only real friend.

Re: the man on the street corner

I guess you have never seen Knight Rider: "One man can make a difference!"
Besides, even if he won`t change much with his one sign, he`ll probably sleep better at nights, thinking that he has at least done something.

Re: the man on the street corner

Who knows how many people have read his sign and taken it into account? Probably not as many as those who have poured scorn on it, but there are bound to be some.
