If you haven't already found out and had a look, Halo 3 has been completely updated and changed. In m opinion, ruined.

Bungie have added 750 points worth of gamerscore to the original thousand. Some of the new achievements are pathetic. They probably just had some guy sit there and think up any old thing and then put it on. Some of them include:

Double Double, get 2 double kills in a ranked or social match on a legendary map.
(some ninja thing), get 3 assassinations in a ranked or social match on a legendary map. These 2 achievements together are worth 75 gamerscore, thats a ridiculous amount for how easy they are, compared to the original 5 for such things as Steppin Razor. Another thing is they have added some really random ones that are completely useless. Such as, get 7 exp on the 7 day of the 7 month. What the hell?!?! Thats for...lets see, NO gamerscore.

Really Bungie are trying to get you to download and play the Legendary maps. Completely changing the ranking system, (you will keep your ranks, they wont go entirely) but they might as well. Its kinda made me angry, its awful, go check it out.

I thought you couldn't get more than 250 extra points on any game after the 1000 mark? If that's incorrect on my part then at least it sounds more inventive than what RSV2 has now...now that's ridiculous...

I agree with the only 250 possible, but i have just checked and if you go on your Achievments list on the dashboard, visit Halo 3 and you will see (acertainamount)/1750. Which is crazy.

The whole thing sux now, i basicly have to start over on my rank and what not so bungie has basicly dug there own grave and w8in for me to push them in it.

That's mental - and the whole 7th of the 7th at 7 thing or whatever it is surely means that no one can attain it except once a year?

no you dont lose your rank but you have to start over in all playlists to get a new rank which is gay imo

Nope the legendary maps are still 600 Microsoft points. But the not so new Cold Storage is free.

no you dont lose your rank but you have to start over in all playlists to get a new rank which is gay imo

It doesn't change your rank. It's simply that now, you have a total rank (your old one) and sub-rankings in each playlist.
