The Origin of Bowerstone
There once was a powerful man known to his friends as "Liberator." He was a kind and gentle hearted man, but he wielded power most men would never know. He was Taronis Gray. He wielded a mighty axe known as Ronok. Taronis lived in a village in the middle of nowhere with his wife and kids. The village was under a terrible drought and water was depleting quickly. The Kingdom had heard their pleas of help and after much time when it was almost to late decided to send much needed supplies to the village. Taronis was out exploring hoping to find some source of water when he heard some voices coming from a makeshift tent. "Right, so when the supplies come down the road we'll have half the bandits come from one side and half from another and make a pincer movement." "Thats smart boss, they wont know what hit 'em. Huh huh." Taronis knew what he had to do, He sprinted back to the village and found any able bodied men that weren't to weak to fight and rounded them up. He took all of them and sprinted to the great Girre road that connected the region to the outside world. They saw the caravan and ran towards it. Taronis realized that the bandits had already started their marched as they closed in. The guards surrounding the caravan fell easily and Taronis' makeshift army came into the fight. Taronis wielded his great axe and realized that it was glowing as he swung it the axe began to feel much lighter. The axe guided itself through the bandits as if it had a mind of its own. Taronis looked around and saw his men were dieing. He ordered his men, his brothers, his friends, his neighbors, his family, to retreat. For every death he saw was the death of a friend. They did as he commanded and Taronis and Ronok continued to fight the bandits on their own greatly outnumbered. Taronis realizes he can't win like this so he unleashes the power passed through his blood from his ancestors. they called it Berserk. Taronis grew much in size and gave off a sinister red glow he could hardly control himself as he sliced through his enemies one by one. Taronis won the battle and led the caravan back to the village and died immediately after of exhaustion. As Taronis fell Ronok slid from his hand and magically on its own carved in the ground "Bowerstone." So the village was renamed accordingly and Ronok the Axe was passed down through the Gray family generation to generation. All was well in Bowerstone.
