the pub games release

yea yea, i know how ign is with throwin release dates around, but right now on the main 360 page under release dates they have the pub games for fable coming out 8/13/08 which sorta makes sense since fable 2 is gonna be out in october. I was wondering how many of you will actually be playing the pub games for that extra bit of money... :D:cool:, and if there will be like a limit on how much you could make, cause i know some people that would be really rich when they started from playin them so much:rolleyes::D lol.

Yeah i think that's the official date because at E3 Peter said they would be out in August.

And i'll play the pub games for the special items that you can receive but i don't want the money mainly because i want to experience fable 2 without a ****load of cash right at the beginning it doesn't fit in with the Fable 2 hero being poor and what-not

having to work your way through fable is one of the cool features in Fable 2 and having a ton of cash defeats that purpose so i don't see the point of getting all that cash at the beginning

yea, i really agree with that, i ruined oblivion my first playthrough by copying items and just selling them over and over, its cool at first, but gets old quick..

Yeah i agree i might use the money i earn in the games later on after i've played through Fable 2 about 15 or so times.

i dont have xbox live, so i cant play them anyway, but if i did have them i wouldnt want a ton of money, just the items like you guys said earlyer. i think that the pub games will also be a part of the game when it comes out, i just hope that we can earn the items that way too.... and to the kid wanting to know how to get to snowspire: first of all, dont just go off topic like that, please start a new thread under the catigory of FABLE HELP. and dont worry about getting to snowspire, the only way to get there is by going though the main quest, so just keep playing and the story will take you there. unless you dont have fable the lost chapters in wich case you can never get to snowspire.

I’m with my esteemed colleague tj griffin on this, I don’t have xbox live, and I don’t want to be rich when I finally get the game (in the game world I mean, any one wants to give me a million in really life, that’s ok!)

my other though is, if I get the pub games in a couple of weeks time, they'll just make me long for fable 2 even more (if that's possible!)

oh..... now im all alone..... waaaa! **** i hate being alone. but holy ****ing **** i love how this forum automaticly puts ****ing stars on all my ****y *** swearing. cuz i ****ing swear a lot. and i was trying not to untill i discovered that this **** will edit the **** out of what i say! **** yes!!!!!! sorry if anyone was ****ing offended by what you just ****ing read. i will ****ing try to ****ing stop this **** now.

Why can't you get the pub games TJ? don't want to spend money on the subscription to live? The wireless adapter maybe?

i honestly tryed getting xbox live once, but i couldnt make it work. i am using a laptop with a wirless modem, and the modem is on the other side of the house, very far from my xbox. is there any way i can still connect?

i relly have no idea how to hook up xbox live, so if someone could help me, i would really be greatful.
