The Rescue glitch

I keep getting stuck on The Rescue mission where you need to go save your son. Everytime I get him out of the cave, he just stands in the house we come out in and doesnt move, I cant get the quest complete

Try to change your marital home before you take the quest. Perhaps this would solve your problem.
