Hey i need sum help with this quest "The Rescue" I have beaten the game and bought the Fairfax Castle -_-. If u tell me its bugged and i gota restart im gona kill u >_>. Cause this is on my first Hero which i have played many hours on and have gotten over 1 Mill in gold >_>!

You havn't exactly outlined the problem you are having with the quest so I dont think you will get too many solutions

I'm going with what everyone else has said.. none of us know what problem you're having.

Still, Fairfax Castle has absolutely nothing to do with The Rescue. From my experience The Rescue only occurs if you have children prior to the end of the game, and you must choose the Love option at the end. If you did not meet those requirements then the quest will not unlock to my knowledge. Spending a night in Fairfax Castle, or sleeping anytime really, WILL unlock a quest.. but not The Rescue.

Your best bet would be to set your target to your wife via the Families tab and hope it leads you to her. It is a glitch, so I've heard, but setting a trail has always cleared things up for me in the past.

I tried the trail thing before but it always stops when i get into bowerstone -_-

actually, i've been having the same problem. i'll select 'The Rescue' and the gold trail will just lead me to one of my sons. (my wife will be standing next to my child)

Im having pretty much the same problem. Except im living in the homestead house with my family, (the house behind the oakfield demon door) and The Rescue quest became available, so I went to my house to talk to my wife, (to get the note from her) AND SHE IS GONE?!?!??! I checked all around my house, and in oakfield, and she is gone.... and when i go to do another quest it says "you have a family emergency, check your map!"
-Any info on this glitch/bug?
