If you joined the Temple of Light you Cannot sacrifice people I think. But otherwise right in the Circle thing and Pull the Lever.

i dont ever remember chosing between light and shadow.but everytime i bring someone to sacrifice and i pull the lever, nothing happens.

I got the maletstrom before i even went thru da cave with hammer, then i joined the light

Look, if you join either temple BEFORE the option to help them shows up, you can donate gold AND Sacrifice innocent blood filled squishy people.If you help the Light, and kill Cornelius, then shadows will attack you every time you enter the temple, and it will be abandoned..If you help Shadow, or leave things be, the temple of light will come to ruin.
