With all these big sequels coming out with their great trailers at E3, I've been thinking, what about all the shame games? The ones that anonymously pop up on shelves, by anonymous developers, and created by anonymous engines etc etc.
Have you ever bought one of these games, or several?
Are they sitting there in the bottom of your game cabinet sitting under Halo 3, Assassins Creed, Oblivion, GOW2 etc. etc?

Lets play the shame games shame game?

I'll give an example to help you:

Phantom

Shame Game: PGR4
Developer: Can't even be bothered to find out.
How Can I justify Purchase: Came with the Xbox
Platform: Xbox 360
Opinion: Never liked racing games. Apart from NFS: U2 NFS: MW


There, easy. Well, not easy for your gaming ego but lets never mind that. At least attempt to justify it. I only have one shameful game (I did have Viva Pinata *CAME WITH XBOX*)
as I read reviews etc. put up only with the best of the best.)

Opinion: TO slow, graphics ugly, boring gameplay

How can I justify purchase: Came with my xbox
Platform: Xbox 360
Opinion: I unwrapped it 6 months after I got it, and played it with two friends after a night of heavy drinking. It's kinda fun but I havn't touched it since.

Justify Purchase: came with xbox 360
Opinion: bleh, childs game based off a childrens movie. Good for a few gamerpoints though.

Shame game: N3
Justify Purchase: Looked cool, took it back the next day.
Opinion: Not sure what type of game N3 is, but I hate that that kind of game. Just a bunch of mindless button mashing and combo attacks. I got to level 2 and was already sick of it.

Although I consider it one of the best games for the Xbox, it won't work on the 360 so it just sits there:
Psi-Ops
Reason for buying it: I bought it, Psychonauts and Halo as my first three games.
Opinion: VERY fun game, played it quite a bit, but doesn't work for 360.

Another shame game: F.E.A.R
Though it is mainstream and possibly my fav FPS, it is full of glitches and crappy modeling/textures.
