the sword of aeons and avo's tear

im abit undecided wot 2 chose the sword of aeons or avos tear :wacko:but the problem is tht when i want avo's tear the tavern way 2 the grave at the guild is closed as well with the other ways:'( and i throw away aeons so how du i get avo's tear?

Go for the Sword of Aeon's.

I'm also not sure why the doors to the Heroes' Guild gardens would be closed either. Are you playing Fable: The Lost Chapters or the original? Beucase if you're playing the original I believe that once...

...the Heroes' Guild has been trashed by Jack of Blades then most of the areas are blocked off by rubble

Sadly, its been a while since I was at that point in the game but other than that I reckon it might be because you need to complete a few extra additional quests during The Lost Chapters portion of the game before the sword becomes available to you.

Bear in mind though: my memory isn't what it used to be and I'm probably wrong and someone else will come along and sort this out for you... ^_^

If you are playing TLC than after you throw away the Aeons sword go to the guld and

get the fire heart from the demon door.
than the guildsmaster will mention of a legendary sword hidden in the guild. You need to go up to Mazes old chambers and check the book shelves for a book. Than you go to the empty tomb and read the head stone.

well, you can't just go straight there... you have to speak to the Guildmaster after you meet Scythe at Lookout Point...
but this is of course, only if he has TLC...
seeing as he says he can't access parts of the guild anymore, I'm guessing he has the original Fable... which is why I asked... there is no Avo's Tear in the original...

Go for the Avos tear if you like big *** swords and go for te sword of aeons if you.. iunno
